How to have end dates align with Colleague and Conduit
Credit (Vanessa Pierce): Currently ECC Moodle courses end dates are being driven by Colleague as we use the Conduit upload. The question has been asked if the end date for the Moodle Course has to match the end date for the course in Colleague or can we manipulate the end date in Moodle and what are the implications? The reason for the question is because instructors do not always get their grades entered in Moodle before the course closes and they are requesting additional time to post grades. Look forward to your feedback.

Credit (Greg Bird):
I have no experience with either Colleage or Conduit, so don't have much to offer, sorry.
I do know however that the Course End date in Moodle does not in fact restrict student access in any way. Students can still access the course after the end date, but it is my understanding that they can no longer trigger course completion (I may be wrong in this).
If you want to actually prevent their access, either hide the course, or set the enrollment end date for each student.
