  Credit (Greg Bird): Yes, it is one of the hidden gems of Moodle, and not so obvious to find, but very powerful.

  1. Go to the course admin menu (cog)
  2. Choose 'Course completion' (I know, that does not make sense, but go with me)
  3. Switch to the 'Bulk edit activity completion' tab.  This will list all of your activities/tools and show the current completion rules for each
  4. Click the checkmark for those you wish to change, then click edit.
  5. Follow your nose
