Manual Allocation using Cohorts

I have created multiple cohorts to use for manual assignment of large groups into certifications. Now I no longer need these cohorts.

If I delete the cohorts I created will this effect anything in the certification allocations since I used the manual allocation option for cohorts?

Each of the users who were assigned to the certifications using these cohorts show as "manual assignment". 

The steps used were: navigate to the user section of the certification, then select the "assign users" button, from there I would select the cohort group to assign and set the perimeters for completion. Once I saved this it would individually assign each user associated with the cohort and mark them as "manual assignment". I am able to individually edit each users assignment settings if I wished and I do not see any information stating these users are attached to the certification due to the cohort.

  The behavior of certifications and other settings related to cohorts (like enrollments) depend on the way the cohort was originally set up. I suggest you raise a ticket so one of our team members can look into your account and provide a more specific answer.
