Culprit in progress not tracking: Windows 11
Is anyone else experiencing troubleshooting mysteries with users unable to progress through a course despite completing activities and their data is not tracking?
I've had a handful of users who for the life of me I have been unable to explain why their scorm modules are not appearing complete and tracking despite the fact that all cookies, popups, javascript, etc correct browser, yada yada is all in place. Nothing made sense. In all these cases, I have to tell the user to just try a different device, but never understanding the cause.
It seems we've discovered a new culprit: Windows 11 drivers
Yesterday on a troubleshooting call with a techie student user, he was patient enough to troubleshoot over the phone. His computer showed a Windows 11 driver stopping the data call and exchange with our LMS. So there it is.
Then I found this article:

Maybe I'm late to the game here in knowing about this bug. But I just thought I'd share in case any of you are also having issues with some users and tracking reporting completing problems.
Now I'm wondering, if you have had experience with this, how do you tell the user to fix it...
We have sooooo many users (in all spheres and ages) that are not tech saavy.
Thanks for listening!

This week I had 2 users with the identical problem in the same new hire onboarding course. Both had completed modules but their info did not track and they were not able to progress. Cookies/Popups/javascript all set correctly. Both on Windows 11. When they moved to different devices...they had no problems.
I've had a few others with the same problem, but I don't know what operating system they were on...makes me think they must have had 11 too.I hope this information is useful to people!
