Needs Grading

Under the course Report tab / Course Reports

Looking for a way to make Needs Grading the default. Any ideas?

  Hi Jason!

  Could you let us know more about the behavior or screen you would like to see by default, and in which context?

  I'm guessing Needs Grading would be the screen you'd want to see when you go to the grading section of your course. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

  I believe you could add a browser bookmark to the Needs Grading so you can go straight there. Even if you're logged out, the bookmark should take you to the screen after you authenticate.

  In a course then Reports then Recent Activity.

  In the dropdown menu we just want the Needs Grading to be the default option instead of Activity grades.  Plus when you select other options from the dropdown the URL does not change so what would the direct URL be for Needs grading.

  A coworker discovered after some digging that the following works:
  
  Create a URL activity 
  
  https://<your site>/blocks/reports/view.php?controller=default&action=report&report=jouleclassneedsgrading
  then under URL variables set for courseid in the label field and id in the dropdown
