    Hi Kim!

This is absolutely something we've in mind to take care of, so the mobile app feels as you say connected between its elements and don't have the need to login in a separate page.

We want to take this opportunity to ask for your feedback at https://support.openlms.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/10932999034908-Open-LMS-Mobile-App-Login-Testing-, to search for further improvements in the mobile app as we are working currently.

    Thank you for your suggestions.

We just added the Mobile app.  I've been testing it, and I think the biggest issue is that the LTIs open in the browser instead of being contained in the app itself, so students have to log in to their accounts in the app and in the browser.  It also feels a little disconnected.

Hello!  We've recently started to see students using the Open LMS app on their Macbooks - is the app designed to support this or is it primarily intended for mobile phones and tablets?  Two students came in for support this week with this method - one was user error and the other appears to be an app issue.  Before I submit a ticket, I thought I'd ask about intended use.  Thanks!

    Hello Katherine,

Thank you for reaching out. The Open LMS app is primarily designed for use on mobile phones and tablets. While some students might be accessing it on laptops or MacBooks, this isn't the intended use case. We encourage using the web version of the site for these cases.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thank you!  We have seen two students using the app on their Macbooks.  One had no problem opening files and uploading file submissions while the other had issues with both of those tasks.  We will let students know that the app is currently designed for mobile devices and tablets only.
