Important considerations for plugins

Please note the following considerations for these plugins:

Quickmail

Due to the upgrade of this plugin, there is a migration of data needed and it’s necessary to consider the next points:

• The migration of historical emails needs to be activated manually by the admin user.

• This new version doesn’t support attachments on drafts, nor for new or old migrated drafts.

Open Forums

In our upcoming 4.1 release, we plan to make a change to the default functionality of Open LMS. Instead of creating a new course with an Open forum activity as the default for the Announcements forum, we will set the default to be a Core forum activity. However, this can be manually turned off if this change does not align with your preferences.

Tiles course format

In our 4.0 and 4.0 MP1 releases, the plugin version of the course format Tiles was not fully compatible with Moodle 4.0. However, for this upcoming 4.0 MP2 release, we have reviewed the latest version of Tiles and made some additional modifications to ensure its compatibility. Thanks to these changes, the course format now works correctly in Boost, Classic, and Snap.

End of life of plugins

As mentioned in our 4.0 Release Notes, we have EOLed the Open content plugins ( tool_xplor and ltisource_xplor).

In our next upgrade, version 4.1, we will EOL the following plugins:
