Major new features/changes for 1.0.8

  1. Updated multi-tenancy framework to provide greater flexibility and other enhancements
    1. Added new context level for tenants.
    2. Added new option for "No tenant" for users. These users exist outside of tenants.
    3. Added tenant relationship to user profile - including the ability to move the use between no tenant, and any available tenant.
    4. Added tenant role archetypes.
    5. Added support for per tenant idP (Identity provider) mapping for SAML2 and updated underlying SAML2 plugin to latest version.
    6. Disabling multitenancy once it is enabled now requires moving all users to the "No tenant" option and deleting all tenants. Then a "De-activate tenants" button will appear on the Manage tenants page.
  2. Reporting enhancements:
    1. Enhanced programs report source to add a new content column which includes the courses inside of a program and their statuses.
    2. Created a new report source for F2F sessions.
    3. The Reports menu item in the left navigation drawer autohides if a user does not have access to any reports.
    4. Improved performance of the Feedback Summary report source
  3. Pulled in a community enhancement for the F2F module to enable an option to limit the available users to assign to a session to only enrolled users in a course. Note: it's strongly recommended this feature is enabled for sites using multi-tenancy.
  4. Various program enhancements
    1. Added tenant awareness to programs - now users should only see programs visible to their tenant and users in their tenant when manually allocating.
    2. Added support for calendar entries for program allocations.
    3. Added greater detail to the data privacy features
  5. Refactored the import completion tool to improve performance and future proof the code.
  6. Updated multidash features to better support the updated multi-tenancy features.
    1. Added option for users to set their own default dashboard from the available list.
    2. Moved management link to the Appearance tab (for full admins) and for other systems roles to the Appearance section of the Site Administration tab.
    3. Now have the option to clone an existing Dashboard when creating a new one.
    4. Note: all existing dashboards will be migrated to the new version. This will result in the URL changing for those dashboards.
  7. Added mod_coursecertificate to the default WORK installation.
  8. Added a permission to delegate management of taxonomies to non-admin roles.
  9. Fixed a bug resulting in inconsistent behavior of the course catalog search filters.
