Open LMS Mobile App version upgrade
We have updated our mobile App Moodle™ version to 4.5.0 on iOS and Android devices. You can find it in the Android and Apple stores available for download.

Centralized Content Management (CCM) Now Supports Quiz Activities
We’re excited to announce that with the 4.4 release, Quiz activities are now fully supported in the Centralized Content Management (CCM) tool!
What’s New?

Quiz joins the list of supported activities for creating Masters and Replicas, alongside Page, File, SCORM, and Label.

Administrators can now create and manage Quizzes through CCM, making it easier to centralize and replicate complex assessments.
How It Works

When creating or editing a Quiz Master, admins will have a 2-hour window to:

Modify activity settings.

Add or create questions for the Quiz.

Changes are auto-saved at the end of the editing session, ensuring no progress is lost.

Users can also click the "Save" button on the CCM main page to manually save changes at any time during the editing window.
This update streamlines the management of Quizzes in CCM while giving admins greater flexibility in ensuring their content is ready for replication.
AI Text-to-Questions Now Supports File Uploads
We’re thrilled to introduce a powerful new enhancement to the AI Text-to-Questions feature!
What’s New?
Users can now upload files to generate questions directly from the uploaded content, providing full control over the source material for question creation.
How It Works

Simply upload a file (e.g., PDF, Word, or text documents) when using the AI Text-to-Questions tool.

The AI will analyze the content in the file to generate high-quality questions tailored to the material.

Generated questions can be seamlessly added to the Question Bank, ready for use in quizzes and other activities.
This update gives educators more flexibility and precision in creating questions, ensuring alignment with their specific learning materials.
AI Text-to-Questions - create questions using course sources
Users can now generate questions using course sources, including Labels, Pages, and Files. A new dropdown menu will display the available content from these sources, allowing for seamless question creation based on existing course materials.
Note: This plugin requires OpenAI API keys to function OpenAI Platform.

Deprecation of the Legacy Personal Menu in 4.4 MP2
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance navigation and user experience, we are deprecating the Legacy Personal Menu with the 4.4 MP2 release on April 10, 2025.
What's Changing?
The My Courses link, which previously displayed the Legacy Personal Menu, will now take you to the enhanced My Courses page. This updated page provides:
- A complete list of your enrolled courses.
- Multiple filtering options, giving you greater control over how your courses are displayed.
- Access to the Snap Feeds drawer, which includes different notifications and quick links for: Grading updates, Forum posts, Messages, Deadlines.
This transition aims to improve course navigation, making it easier to find and manage your courses and stay up to date with important activities.
