Non-Production Sites Upgrade Schedule
To improve the quality of the upgrade process and shorten the production upgrade window, non-production (sandbox) sites will be upgraded on Thursday, July 25 2024 between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EDT.
Downtime will be required for your production and non-production sites during this window.

Open LMS Highlights
Snap Improvements
A new year filter has been added to the Course Overview block in the "My Courses" view for Snap theme, allowing users to visualize their courses based on the year they ended. This feature is similar to the functionality previously available in the Snap personal menu.
In the "Change Cover Image" preview modal introduced in version 4.3 for the Snap theme, the current image is now displayed as a preview. The user can crop the image using a crop box in the preview modal, allowing them to select the portion of the image to display on the course cover. The full image will still be displayed on course cards in the List of Courses on the category page and My Courses.
Additionally, when the “Change cover image” button is clicked, the current cover image (if any) will now be displayed in the preview modal. A "Delete image" button has also been added, allowing users to remove the cover image from the course and delete the file.
We have expanded the number of feature spots on the site home page from 3 to up to 6. Feature spots are a fantastic way to showcase relevant information to the educational community within your institutions.
Each feature spot allows you to add:
- An image
- A title
- A content description
- A link
To display a feature spot on the front page, a title is required. The image, content description, and link sections are optional.
To enhance usability, feature spot cards can be made fully clickable when a link is set, making it easier for users to access the linked content.
Improvements to Programs:
We have expanded the options on the program settings page. It is now possible to configure certification settings.
Improvement to Certifications
A new Certification Settings page has been introduced. Users with the appropriate permissions can now enable or disable the Certification Framework's list of settings.
Face to Face
We have added support for waitlist status to the Face-to-Face availability restrictions. A new checkbox, ‘Include waitlisted users,’ has been added to the Face-to-Face booking restriction. Teachers can use this checkbox to restrict course resources to users who have booked a specific session, excluding waitlisted users.
My Account - Active users data
We would like to inform you that the "Active and Registered Users" view currently does not support all definitions of active users in OLMS, nor does it offer date period customization based on contract start date. To prevent any confusion and ensure the accuracy of user data, we will be removing the "Active and Registered Users" page. If you need further assistance with data about active users, please feel free to contact your respective account manager or raise a ticket in our support portal.
