New and Updated WORK Features
- New output option in Open Reports Engine - the ability to export results to json and retrieve the json by webservice
- Added a new Dynamic Cohorts feature - this enables administrators and similar roles to create cohorts and automate assigning users to the cohort. This tool supports several types of rules, including:
- User profile fields (both core and custom)
- Add or exclude users based on other cohort memberships
- Taxonomy assignments
- Related user data (has direct reports and has indirect reports)
- Course completion
- Program completion
- Certification status
- Add a new "Training Value" custom field - this is currently available as a custom course field. Each training value custom field can be affiliated with a "Training framework" that defines how the values are calculated. This enables administrators to set values for courses and then use those earned values to drive activity such as Program completion. This separates course enrollment from the program, which may benefit some use cases
- In Programs, bulk upload of history is now available in the user interface, previously it required uploading via Upload users
- Bulk upload of history into Programs is now clearly marked as being provided via evidence and allows the upload to set a reason. This will make future audits clearer as to how a user was marked complete
- Introduced an option to recalculate Program completion when editing item completion inside of a Program
- In Certifications there is a new option to bulk assign users by uploading a CSV in the Certifications Users tab (require manual assignments to be enabled)
- Added a new report source in Open Reports Engine for Payments when using Open LMS eCommerce
- Added benefit expiry to the current vouchers report source in Open Reports Engine, which is available when using Open LMS eCommerce
- Added a new feature to Open LMS eCommerce that sets a validity period to vouchers purchased. After the validity period has expired the vouchers are not available to be redeemed
Bug fixes and minor enhancements
- Fixed an issue in Open Reports Engine where the Face-to-face link column was sometimes blank/empty in the Face-to-face report sources
- Fixed an issue in Open Reports Engine where the date filters in the Face-to-face report sources sometimes resulted in an error
- Minor performance improvements when using the Multiple choice statistics reporting in the Open Reports Engine
- Programs management link is now visible in the Site Administration menu for users with the relevant permissions - previously this was only visible in the Program Catalog or for site administrators
- Added more plugins to our community and partner lists - see the Plugin Matrix for more details
WORK 3.0.1 Release notes
WORK 3.0.1 was released with the following bug fixes and enhancements
- Added new options for Open LMS eCommerce related to purchases on behalf of others and manually generated vouchers. The new options let administrators choose whether a validity period starts at the point of purchase or point of redemption. This applies to non-recurring, time-limited purchases
- Upgraded the third party Zoom activity plugin to the latest release
- Fixed a bug in programs where in some cases the user profile link displayed in a program access request was for the wrong user profile
