The Open LMS Product team is happy to announce the release of WORK 1.0.11 on April 28, 2023.
Highlights of this release
- An easier and more robust menu management option. Moodle core allows you to create custom menu items in the primary navigation bar using a text based editor. Open LMS introduces a visual, form-based solution for managing links. In addition, links can be limited to specific users via tenant membership, cohort membership, authentication status, role, or capability.
- Update to Moodle 3.11.13 (3.11.14 security issues were back-ported)
- New translations for Arabic, Catalan, Czech, Danish, German, Spanish, Finnish, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Thai, Turkish, Taiwanese Mandarin
- New permission to make it possible to delegate management of the Course catalog settings
- Update to the latest versions of tool_certificate and mod_coursecertificate
- Face-to-face enhancements
- Add unavailable times to trainer scheduling
- Add option to set a default notification type for sign up confirmations (Email Notification and iCalendar Appointment, Email Notification Only, iCalendar Appointment only)
- If hide cost and discount is enabled it is now hidden in the mobile app too
- Programs enhancements
- Added tags display to mobile app
- Added option to filter programs by status in the mobile app
- Separated cohort-based visibility and allocation, so that now you can set programs to be visible to several cohorts, but only sync allocations by some of those cohorts
- Added new option to the Program completion upload to specify either the idnumber or the internal programid in the csv
- Add configuration options to Taxonomy values, so that hidden status can be easily configured via the frontend
- Fixed an issue where in some cases a tenant admin or manager that was editing a user would not see custom user profile fields.
